Teens. My kingdom for a kiss.
Paris, September 2012.
“The seven steps of the love crystallization are :
Stendhal (excerpt).
- admiration;
- we think : “what a pleasure to kiss him/her, and to be kissed by him/her!” and so on;
- hope;
- love birth;
- the first crystallization begins (what I call ‘crystallization’ is this mind operation – the fact that every thing we discover in the loved person is interpreted like another new perfection);
- doubt birth;
- second crystallization (he/she loves me).”
I couldn’t pay tribute to Firenze without quoting, at least once, Stendhal. The writer who was suffering of the famous “Florence’ syndrome”.
“Un baiser apaise la faim, la soif. On y dort. On y habite. On y oublie.” Jacques Audiberti.
(“A kiss takes one’s mind off the hunger, off the thirst. We sleep in it. We live in it. We forget everything in it.”)

Paul asked for this pic, then this one’s for you, my buddy (you can see Paul’s work by clicking here).
I had told about a classic photo, and, well, we can also see it as a “classic Parisian lovers” pic. But feel free to see my humor a lil subversive.

A sector of a circle is a pie shaped portion of the area of the circle. Technically, the piece of pie is between two segments coming out of the center of the circle.
Area of Sector = ½ × (θ × π/180) × r2 (when θ is in degrees).

On this day, 35 cities lived through the lens of street photographers during 24 hours. Pix will be posted soon on
«L’amour n’est pas un feu qu’on renferme en une âme,
Tout nous trahit, la voix, le silence, les yeux,
Et les feux mal couverts n’en éclatent que mieux.»Jean Racine
(“Love isn’t a fire we can contain in a soul: everything gives ourselves away, voice, silence, eyes. And badly banked up fires stand out even clearly.”)
